Peter Yip

Executive Chairman of the Board, CDC Software

Mr. Yip is Executive Chairman and CEO of CDC Software, a leading enterprise software company ranked #12 of the global Top 100 enterprise software providers and number 8 in the Top 20 Supply Chain Management Software Suppliers by leading industry publications. Mr. Yip is the architect of the acquisitions of Pivotal Corporation and Ross Systems that together form the core foundation for CDC Software. Mr. Yip is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CDC Corporation, a company he helped found. Under his leadership, CDC Corporation was one of the first successful initial public offerings of an Internet company from Greater China to be listed on NASDAQ, opening the door for other Chinese entrepreneurs to list their ventures in the U.S. capital markets.

Mr. Yip co-founded Yipkon Business Systems in 1978 with his Indian partner from Bangalore, Kumar Konanur. Yipkon, as one of the first Indian outsourcing companies based in New York, pioneered outsourcing for U.S. companies using Indian resources from Bangalore and successfully grew to U.S.$100 million revenue, securing major federal government contracts with the U.S. Army, U.S. Treasury, DOD Logistics Agency, and financial institutions including Equitable Life, Morgan Guarantee Trust, Bankers Trust, New York Life, and Citibank. Mr. Yip sold Yipkon to MCI Worldcom in 1987, just before the market crash, and returned to Hong Kong to make investments in software and IT companies.

Mr. Yip has made a number of successful co-investments with institutional investors, corporate investors and high net worth individuals. These include investments in Temasek Holdings company, Xinhua News Agency, Bechtel Enterprises Inc., Mitsui & Co. Ltd., America Online, Inc., Merrill Lynch-Fred Adler Technology Fund II, and the New World Group. Mr. Yip previously held management positions at KPMG Consulting, Wharton Applied Research, and worked at Gartner Group. From 1989-1992, Mr. Yip served as Chairman of Gartner Group Asia.

Mr. Yip is a frequent speaker at various international conferences and institutions, including the Harvard Business School, Fortune CEO Global Forum, World Economics Forum, Forbes CEO Forum, Businessweek CIO Forum, M.I.T. Enterprise Forum, U.S./Japan Symposium on Corporate Partnership, United Nations Conference on Science & Technology, Harvard University's Conference on Internet & Society, and the Nikkei International Conference. CDC Corporation's business model was a case study at Harvard Business School in 1996. He has authored research papers published by Harvard Asia Pacific Review, Nanjing University Press, and the National Science Foundation. He recently co-authored a book titled The China's Century with former Chinese Premier Zhu Yongji, amongst others.

Mr. Yip received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MSEE and BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2000, the Wharton Business School presented Mr. Yip with the Asian Alumni Entrepreneur Award.

Mr. Yip also received an Associate degree in Engineering and an honorary Doctorate degree in business from Vincennes University, Indiana.

Bruce Cameron

President, Worldwide Sales & Marketing, CDC Software

Bruce Cameron is President for Worldwide Sales and Marketing and is responsible for overseeing global sales and marketing for the company's enterprise solutions.

Mr. Cameron was originally hired into Pivotal in 2003 as General Manager. He has overseen license revenue growth of over 20% per year in North America and has had similar success in EMEA. Today he manages the sales and marketing of numerous product lines across multiple geographies for $350M CDC Software.

Previously, Mr. Cameron held executive positions at QAD Inc., Delano Technology, and JBA International. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales for QAD Inc., Mr. Cameron grew revenue in North America from $7 million to $45 million in two years and from $10 million to $100 million on a worldwide basis, while adding major customer accounts, including Gillette, Unilever, and Colgate.

At Delano Technology, Mr. Cameron grew revenue from $6 million to $30 million in a single year while serving as General Manager. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Cameron held executive roles at JBA International and was responsible for taking the company into four new vertical markets, helping JBA surpass $100 million in sales in these verticals in three years.

Matthew S. Lavelle

Chief Financial Officer, CDC Corporation

Matthew Lavelle is Chief Financial Officer for CDC Corporation and is responsible for forecasting and budgeting, monthly reporting and analysis, developing and tracking operating performance metrics, and establishing monthly business review processes for CDC Software, CDC Global Services, CDC Games, and China.com

Mr. Lavelle is a results-driven senior professional with a proven track record of success in the finance and accounting field. His expertise ranges from annual strategic planning coordination and the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to management of audits and business case financials.

For more than 20 years, Mr. Lavelle has worked in the financing and accounting industry and has previously held senior level finance positions with SITA, Inc., UPS Supply Chain Solutions, UPS SCS Canada, UPS Logistics Group Inc, amongst others.

Mr. Lavelle holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Alan MacLamroc

Chief Product & Technology Officer, CDC Software

Mr. MacLamroc is responsible for the definition, development and deployment of all products for the company, including technology strategy, product management, software development, quality assurance, performance and systems integration for CDC Software.

With more than 20 years of technology management experience, Mc. MacLamroc comes to CDC Software from CompuCredit, where he served as chief technology officer, Valued Services.  Previous experience includes serving as chief product and technology officer, Global Product Marketing & Engineering, for MAPICS and chief technology officer, Global Engineering, for CLARUS. He also has served in a variety of technology management positions at System Software Associates (SSA), IBM and Sprint.

Timothy F. Coen

General Counsel, CDC Software

Tim Coen is general counsel for CDC Corporation and its subsidiaries.  Most recently, Tim was vice president, general counsel and secretary for IP Unity Glenayre, Inc. and its predecessor Glenayre Technologies, Inc., a publicly-held global company engaged in the worldwide distribution of complex mobile messaging systems platforms, mobile applications and entertainment media. Tim holds more than 25 years of domestic and international corporate and transaction-oriented legal experience. He has served as an attorney in major law firms and as an executive-level in-house lawyer, including tenure as of counsel with King& Spalding, LLP.  He also was a partner in the law firm of Powell Goldstein LLP, and in-house counsel with Concert Communications and with BellSouth Corporation. He has represented numerous technology companies in complex software, technology and professional IT services transactions, as well as in corporate, securities and compliance matters and other complex commercial and financial transactions.

Mark Sutcliffe

President of CDC Factory

Mark Sutcliffe is President of CDC Factory, a packaged manufacturing operations management solution.

Sutcliffe is an acknowledged authority on continuous improvement and change management practices, centered on technology. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences in Europe and the U.S. on the subject of deploying technology to leverage "human capital" and achieve "breakthrough performance" across the whole enterprise.

After an outstanding career in enterprise software sales, Mark formed MVI technology in 1991 to provide leading-edge improvement technology to the food & beverage manufacturing sector. In the fourth quarter of 2006, MVI was acquired by CDC Software and the product line has posted consistent record sales quarters.

Per Norling

President, CDC Supply Chain

Per Norling is responsible for CDC Software operations in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) and CDC Supply Chain operations worldwide. His responsibilities include customer-focused software, services, and support solutions, as well as the company's internal operations.

Before joining CDC Software, Mr. Norling was Chief Operating Officer of Baan Company in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). More recently, Mr. Norling was business leader for the EMEA region of Descartes Systems Group (DSG) and a member of the DSG Operations Team.

Mr. Norling graduated in 1979 from the School of Industrial Economics in Linköping with a Master of Science degree in Engineering. Since then he has garnered over 20 years' experience in the IT and manufacturing industries—including sales, marketing, manufacturing, consultancy, and business development roles with Nordic and global industry leaders such as General Electric, Siemens, and Ericsson.

William Geist

Senior Vice President, Customer Services, North America, CDC Software

Mr. Geist is responsible for delivery of software services to CDC Software's North American customers and global support for all CDC products. 

Mr. Geist most recently served as a partner at Tatum, L.L.C., an Atlanta-based national consultancy focused on providing financial, strategic and technology services to companies in transition, accelerating their business growth and creating value. Previous experience also includes serving as CEO for Application Partners, L.L.C., a consultancy providing business intelligence and data warehousing services; senior vice president and vice president for Headstrong, Inc., an international consultancy; partner and branch manager of Whittman-Hart, Inc.; director and group manager of Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc.; vice president, Information Technology and Services for Scientific Atlanta, Inc., and several other IT management positions.

Shawn Grant

Senior Vice President, North America Sales, CDC Software

Shawn Grant is Senior Vice President, North America Sales for CDC Software and is responsible for overseeing sales for the company's enterprise solutions.

Mr. Grant was hired by Pivotal in 2000 and has served in a variety of management roles at CDC Software including Vice President, Professional Services and Vice President Sales, Customer Accounts North America. With more than 15 years of managing the sales and delivery of CRM and ERP enterprise software solutions, Mr. Grant has been instrumental in the successful acquisition and integration of several front office and back office solutions that complete the CDC Enterprise Software suite. He also brings significant experience managing sales and delivery of enterprise solutions into the vertically focused areas for CDC Software including Financial Services, Real Estate and Homebuilding, and for Discreet and Process Manufacturing. Before joining CDC Software, he held senior management positions with Endurant Business Solutions (Pivotal CRM Reseller and Implementer) and Softbrands (formerly known as Fourth Shift Corporation – discreet manufacturing ERP software) as well as several vertically focused positions in the Financial Services and Insurance industries.

Niklas Rönnbäck

Senior Vice President, Services for EMEA

Niklas Rönnbäck is Senior Vice President, Services for EMEA.  He is responsible for all customer service, across all product lines in EMEA.

Since 1997, he has served in a variety of management roles at CDC Software including Vice President, Operations at CDC Supply Chain.

Rönnbäck brings more than 15 years of enterprise software experience, specifically in the implementation of ERP, order management and warehouse management systems.  Earlier, he was President at Öhrwall & Rönnbäck, a privately held logistics and supply chain firm.

Jonna Schaff

Frank Hung

Managing Director, Australia, CDC Software

Frank Hung has served as CDC Software's managing director of Australia since January 2007 and is responsible for operations activity for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr. Hung has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector and has held various international and senior management positions throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Before joining CDC Software, Mr Hung served as the Managing Director, Australia, and Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific, for Maximizer Software, where he oversaw all customer relationship management (CRM) operations for the company throughout the Asia Pacific region. Prior to Maximizer Software, Mr. Hung served as Chief Operating Officer, Asia for Powerlan Limited. While at Powerlan, he played an instrumental role in the initial merger of CSSL Group and Powerlan and led the integration of the companies' infrastructure, operations and combined services and solutions.

Edmund Lau

Vice President, Greater China, CDC Software

Edmund Lau is vice president, Greater China. He is responsible for sales, services and business development in Greater China (Hong Kong, Taiwan and China).

With more than 20 years of senior management experience, Lau has earned a formidable reputation for his track record in transforming and growing established and start-up businesses while building solid relationships with customers. Most recently, he served as president of Viador, Inc., a leading provider of web-based Business Intelligence (BI) solutions based in bay area, US. There, he also served in senior sales positions that included vice president of worldwide sales and vice president of international sales, where he expanded company sales in Europe and Asia Pacific, especially the Greater China area.  Under the leadership of Lau, Viador sales increased dramatically in Greater China through direct sales and strategic OEM partnerships with China-based vertical market-focused ISVs (Independent Software Vendors). Lau also established Viador's new outsourcing operation in that country.  Earlier, Lau served as general manager of China/Hong Kong region for Hamilton/Brighton Technology Ltd., a U.S.-based IT company.  Prior to that, he served in a variety of technical management positions for California-based IT companies.

Anil Dwivedi

Vice President, Japan and Korea, CDC Software

Mr. Dwivedi is CDC Software’s Vice President, Country Manager, Japan and Korea. In this role, Mr. Dwivedi is responsible for expanding reseller channels in those countries, and identifying and evaluating merger and acquisition opportunities, including the expansion of the CDC Software franchise partner program to Japan and Korea. Prior to joining CDC Software, Mr. Dwivedi served in various executive leadership positions in the enterprise software industry in China and Japan including senior business development management roles at Wipro Japan KK in Yokohama, Japan where his responsibilities included consulting large Japanese corporations on their IT and off-shoring strategies and selling services related to web technologies, Infrastructure, security and ERP. At HCL in Japan and India his role was focused on sales of SAP services and alliances with SAP. Mr. Dwivedi is a graduate of the premier Institutes IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) and Management Graduate of IIM (Indian Institute of Management).

Sean Yu

Vice President, CDC Software and Chairman, CDC Software (China)

Sean Yu, Vice President for Development of CDC Software and Chairman of CDC Software (China), is responsible for establishing, expanding and managing the company's China offshore operations. Under his leadership, CDC Software's offshore capability in China has grown from scratch to account for more than one-third of the global product workforce within three years. To ensure CDC Software's rapid growth in China, he also identifies and examines acquisition targets, conducts due diligence analysis, and serves as board members on the company's joint ventures to ensure their continuing success.

Before joining CDC Software, Mr. Yu held senior positions in the field of supply chain management. Creative solutions developed under his guidance are still supporting a number of globally-known companies today in optimizing their supply chain and transportation networks.

Earlier in his career, he worked at the Harvard Institute for International Development conducting economic and investment analysis for international and government institutions such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Mr. Yu received his M.S. in operations research and M.A. in urban planning from Harvard University.

Monish Bahl

Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications , CDC Corporation

Mr. Bahl is responsible for communicating the company's financial and other relevant information to shareholders and the financial community. He has held a variety of management positions with publicly traded companies and has extensive experience with Wall Street.

Prior to joining CDC Software, he served as Vice President, Investor Relations of Verso Technologies, a next generation telecommunications equipment provider in Atlanta. In this role, he communicated the company's strategy to the investment community, was involved in two equity capital raises, as well as mergers and acquisitions activity.  Earlier, he was one of the founding members of HarborPayments, an e-commerce financial services company that was later sold to American Express Corporation. Prior to HarborPayments, he worked as Assistant Vice President for Parker/Hunter, a sell-side brokerage house later sold to Janney Montgomery. In that capacity, he served as a senior equity analyst covering technology stocks such as Computer Associates, Ansys and others. He was also involved in five public equity offerings. He holds a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor of science from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA.

David Cahn

Vice President, Product Strategy

David is a veteran of the software industry with strong business development, practice management skills and deep domain expertise across multiple industry verticals. As VP Product Strategy CDC Software, he is responsible for setting direction and vision for the company product lines and collaborating on the go-to-market strategies. Prior to CDC Software, David was CEO of Y2G Associates, working with ISVs performing business and corporate development activities including product strategy, M&A, capital raising, and channel and alliances development. Cahn previously was a former research director at AMR Research, held managing director positions at KPMG LLP and Answerthink, and performed executive roles at Computer Associates. Cahn is a hands-on leader who is well known to press, analysts, software organizations and consortiums. He has actively participated on software industry panels and conference key notes, relating to directions in distributed computing architectures and enterprise-wide supply-chain management.

David has a B.S. in Business Administration and a strong minor in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
